Romantic Read

Another great read from this series. We've been teased with Deirdre and Theo's attraction in the previous books, so it was good to see them finally get together. I liked this story because everything between these two was just so romantic. Theo really pulled out all the stops courting Deirdre and it made the book very pleasurable. These two had some really hot and equally sweet love scenes that added to their romance. I'm thinking this is the last book in the series, so if you haven't read the previous books definitely read them in order.

More of a fumble than a rush

I anxiously awaited this release as FR had whet our appetites for Theo and Deirdre for a couple of years now.
However, I was disappointed bcz the story was just ok.
Theo and Deidre did not give me the 'pleasure rush' I was expecting. The story line was good, but it was more about Theo's conflicting feelings over his job and its demands. I admire him for refusing to "throw his former team under the bus", but there was just no steam or heat in the passion between he and Deidre.
I've read all the NY Sabers books and my favorite is still "I'll Catch You". Cedric and Payton had MUCH steam and lots of witty banter between the two. You could feel the sexual tension coming off the pages.
But, there wasn't a whole lot of fun and banter between Theo and Deidre. Deidre just seemed kinda blah to me. I was glad she'd finally decided to 'live out loud' and put her needs first, but something was missing in this one.
And after being teased for so long with this release, I expected passion and a whole lot more. Hopefully, the next installment will give me more of a 'rush'.

She has always been the one to look out for everybody else including her brother and son they have been her number one propriety. In Hawaii she learns how to relax and enjoy herself.
Deidre was in Hawaii for contest and also because this is the first time she has been on a vacation and Theo was there to cover the Pro Bowl as reading this book it just brought back the Pro Bowl that was oh TV back in Jan. The detail that Farrah describe in the book is so real it as if I was at the real football game, can't wait until August when football start back again.
Theo is a man after my heart I just fell in love with him, someone who know what he want and I tell when they do get together it is HOT.
