Chyna was a chick from my heart. She said what she felt and stayed focused on her plan. Who needs romance when you got career goals to meet and family to support? I really liked her. She played it safe and here comes Jared; unexpected, spontaneous, with expensive taste and all that finery...he blew her away. I loved that Chyna never really made her desire to stay away about what he made or what he did for a living. She was secure with herself, at least most times and she had no problem working her way to the top. Is it her fault that Jared, her secret crush, finds her irresistible? I love the interaction, and the friends in the story seem to add a little something extra...there is another story Liani..can't wait to read it.

I love Farrah's writing. The off hand references to the characters differences in societal standing enfuse a realism into these characters.

This was just an okay read....It could have been so much more....the first two books in the series were really good this one just didn't have the steam.... it had the potiental but was lacking in the chemistry department.....will read the others in the series to see where they will go.....Something was just missing with Jared and Chyna.......
