Margaret Chamberlain has illustrated many children's over the last twenty years and has worked with Walker and Bloomsbury, amongst others. She divides her time between Lyme Regis and London.

How does this illustrator get such humour into such simple drawings?! My daughter and I laugh every time we look at the picture of poor Tootsie on the cover. A brilliant cautionary tale which is guaranteed to intrigue young children - we read it over and over again.
