Most Helpful Customer Reviews

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By M. Cooter on 1 May 2007
Format: Audio CD
This collaboration with the Cure's Robert Smith is a fantastic continuation and development of the Orbital legacy from Paul Hartnoll

The finely crafted electronic intro sets up the pace for the vocals, which Smith decorates with his inimitable style and pace, before exploding into a beautiful hands-in-the-air break.

I have had this on repeat on my 'pod numerous times, and can't quite tell what sort of club would play this kind of music - but it's a club I'd love to go to.

Ok, so I AM a long-term Orbital fan, and have been keen to see where the brothers go next. I was feeling a loss of connection after being disappointed by Octane and the Blue Album - but this is the real thing. Fantastic music dragged up from the same deep mysterious place that kept the Orbital show on the road for those fifteen glorious years.

Get this, then get the album 'The Ideal Condition', and glorify in finding the cutting edge of electronic music once more.
