If you are anything like me, sick of incessant calls to put on Cbeebies or change the dvd every five seconds this could be the thing for you!

Wide audience; mixed gender, birth probably to 5 if you don't include the "adults", It has 2 episodes of several series which means no channel hopping and less boredom. It's not too much early learning and not too much brain deadening rubbish - you've got Tweenies, Tikkabilla, New Andy Pandy, Little Robots, New Bill & Ben which are preferable to Nick Jnr or Pinky Dinky whatsit and Crazy Town that I'm subjected to now if I turn on the tv.

It is also a chance to get hold of the Keatonesque and very funny YoHo Ahoy which isn't available otherwise on dvd (virtually mute monster pirates for those unaware)

Menues are good and you can select by episode (eposodes aren't bad examples either) - there's also a couple of extra features. I think this seems to be the only CBeebies/kids compilation of current things around at the mo. Maybe even worth getting for Grannies house. All we're waiting for now is Aunty Mabel to come out.

my daughter loves tikkabilla, but they don't make a dvd just of this, she has never watched andy panda or rubarb and custard and she loved them so well worth purchasing. also dvd is on a loop so if your out of room(or in car) it will start up again.

I actually bought this because I couldn't finnd any DVDs of Yoho Ahoy. I have the VHS, but wanted my daughter to be able to play the episodes on her tab. I found a Daily Mail promo DVD being sold elsewhere and also this here on Amazon.

The DVD has two Yoho Ahoy episodes plus another few different shows which she also likes. In case you've never seen Yoho Ahoy...the characters are all little pirate people who speak to each other using only the words 'Yoho' and 'Ahoy'. My three year old daughter understands the stories just by watching and can explain them to me...so it's obviously great for even very little ones.

Bill and Ben and Andy Pandy are the more modern recreations of the originals...and Little Robots is also very sweet. Again, all very appropriate for small children.

I'm glad there are a few other shows, like The Tweenies and Tikkabilla, that are a little more advanced, because it's always nice for children to experience a bit of variety. Also, many young children LOVE Justin Fletcher and he features a lot in Tikkabilla.

If you're thinking of buying this as a gift for a young child, I'd highly recommend it. It's definitely worth the fiver I paid for it.
