stick with the drop ins 15 April 2010

These liners are terrible. They leak horribly. I bought them by accident and figured that I would try them. Supposedly you can use them for milk storage, but I do not see how you could do so. The drop ins are much better.

like better than drop-ins 17 Sep 2010
By Soul Thirsty - Published on Amazon.com
I have been using these for about a week and I actually like them better than the drop-ins. With the drop-ins that I have, they are easy to crush, making it difficult to get an accurate measure of liquid. I found myself using my finger or a spoon to un-crush the drop-ins. The first day I used these liners I didn't put them on correctly, which caused leakage. But, now that I pull the bags over the bottles correctly, I haven't had any problems (the tabs should be fairly easy to pull off if you have them on correctly). I also like that I can reach through the bottom of the bottle to make sure that the liner isn't bunched up, thus helping my problem of getting a fairly accurate read on how much milk I put in. I have frozen one bag of milk so far without any problems. I didn't tear the tabs off and then I tied a rubber band around the bag tightly. It seems to have frozen nicely. The only disadvantage to the liners is that I would probably feel more comfortable dumping the defrosted milk into a new bag, versus with the drop-ins where I could put them right into a bottle to defrost.

Not bad, but drop in's are superior 6 Sep 2010
By J. Li - Published on Amazon.com

To all those that claimed leakage, I have experienced a few times too. But it all has to do with improper installation of liner. One has to pull both side evenly so that the lips of liner will be pulled over the container mouth. I pulled about 1/4" over then securely screw in. Keep in mind that if one keeps opening and close while changing the formula, it may cause the liner to slip/shift. Which means you will have to make sure the liner is over the lip of the container properly again. Thus, liners are meant for people with patients.

Its advantages are many: it takes up so little space that it is great for trips when space is a premium; tt does not get crushed like the drop ins; it holds more liquids; and it heats up the fastest when submerged in hot water to warm the formula for your baby.

Of course, drop in are superior in the sense that it is idiot-proof.
