This is a neat, economic and simple solution for connecting the Playstation 3 PS3 console or Nintendo Wii console directly into the VGA socket on either an HDTV or PC Monitor. The resolution of the pictures is 480P (640*480) when connecting with the Wii game console. The resolution of the pictures is controlled through the game console. The resolution of the output pictures is 480P/720P/1080I/1080P when used with the PS3 game console. The frequency of the output pictures is 50/60/75HZ so it will work anywhere in the world Audio output signal port is compatible with speakers and a headphone. Power consumption: 150MA-200MA, supplied by game console.

Used to use a VGA box for playing my Wii on a PC monitor, but it blurred the picture and would only work in 50hz. This cable produces a crystal clear image, runs at 480p and 60hz.

I've read a few comments about the image blacking out for a second once in a while and I've come across the problem, but only when I'm playing imported NTSC games. My PAL games all work perfectly.

I tested the cable on a PS3 too, it took a while to get it set up, but once I did, it ran perfectly. Well worth the price.

This cable works fine for my PS3 on a Samsung monitor. It can't handle 1080 though, just 720p. The image is very sharp though, no problems with blurring at all. Sound is pumped out with both split(red & white) jacks and a combined jack if your sound system needs that instead, so no worries there either.

Follow the instructions and this works perfectly, I have the PS3 and the Wii connected to a VGA switch with an XBox 360. As long as I don't turn on the Wii and the PS3 everything cool. The Wii doesn't like it, and the Ps3 "steals" the volume.
