If you have a weak battery and it is not charging anymore, then you need a repalcement battery.
There are two official models of PS3 Controllers. First there was the SIXAXIS on the market. Later SONY released the DUALSHOCK3, which have a additional shock function.
The battery we offer here are for the older SIXAXIS model. They won“t fit in the DUALSHOCK.
To exchange the battery is easy, you won“t need more than a screwdriver and a little patience.

Fun:
there does come a time when you forget to charge the controllers and if left too long with out charging they die, like my one did, buying a new controller is too expensive around £35-£40 which is a lot.
This was ideal easy to change and replace, however once you open controller do try and remember where everything goes.

My old controller stopped charging up and I had to use it with a USB lead connected all the time. Took a punt and swapped the old battery for this one and now it works better than when new!
