I didnt pay anywhere near this price for the seat as this is very over priced. the chair itself is very good and stable and surprisingly comfortable. Would have been nice if it actually came with the gear shift holder and seat slider especially for this price. Well worth investing in the slider though as this makes it alot easier to adjust. The gear shift holder is also very good and easy to adjust to suit. Overall I'd say this makes driving games alot more fun and realistic. Beware though as its actually a large piece of kit and will take up alot of space in a small room. Works really well with the Logitech G25 wheel as all the holes are pre-cut and very easy to fit. Would have been nice if the section that holds the pedals was a bit firmer as it has alot of give in it and feels sometimes if youre heavy on the brake that it bends quite alot. I'm sure it wont actually get damaged but its a little off puting. All that said though if youre thinking of getting one then dont hesitate as its an excellent seat. Maybe hunt about for a cheaper one though

Playseat Evo Exceeded my expectations, I give it top marks. Comes in a surprisingly small box and is easy to assemble. Build quality and finish is excellent. The seat is comfortable and works well with my Logitech wheel. This is the only way to play driving games.

I bought this to use with both PS3 Logitech Driving Force GT Steering Wheel and the Official Xbox Wireless Wheel. The former attaches with no problem using the table clamps that are part of the wheel, the pedals remain in place without the need for the supplied velcro. Note the screws supplied for the pedals do not support this Logitech Wheel. I choose not to use the velcro so that I can easily swap the wheel over, but it would add additional support if needed. The Xbox wheel does not clamp to the Playseat, it can be fastened with Velcro or you can purchase the Adapter Kit, which I did and works well, more on that later. The pedals again fit neatly without the need for velcro.
The seat 'construction' out of the box was very straight forward. The Playseat itself is very strong and easily accommodates my frame 6 foot 3 inches 14st(+) and is easily adapted to other sizes, note that the pedal shelf cannot be angled either up or down, it's in a fixed position, but this in my opinion is not an issue. I luckily sourced the seat direct from Amazon UK for £245.10 inc P&P, which is still a lot but less than Playseat £309 + £28 P&P, but I would still consider it a bit of a luxury! Having previously used the Xbox wheel on my lap this new set up is a pleasure to use.
The Xbox Adapter Kit is difficult to source I would not recommend Playseat as they charge £30 + £15pp which for two pieces of metal approx 4 inches by 2 inches is just unbelievable, they should be supplied as standard given the cost of the item. I found the Kit on Amazon.com which proved cheaper than Playseat, even with overseas delivery and taxes. The instructions for the item are not well written and it's a bit of a puzzle to sort out, but they do support the wheel well.
