Super arrangements as you would expect from Mulligan played by a big band which is more than competent. I had only come across the odd arrangement by Gerry for Gene before so this is a welcome addition to my collection. The six alternative takes are interesting as they feature a much earlier version of the Krupa band (1946-7 as opposed to 1958) which includes some well known soloists like Red Rodnay and Charlie Ventura. If you like big bands and haven't tried Krupa before, this is a good place to start.
