I Say, Do Bring My Mount Around, Although I Cannot Even Mount Him 5 Nov 2011

Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I always wondered if the included hairbrush was for the princess, the horse, or both...no, seriously, tough little set for the girly-girl types. Uni's horn is soft rubber, so he ain't gettin' his crazy on, jabbing indiscriminately at soft tissue areas on humans. Horn is also anchored well within the equine's head, so do not worry about losing it (the horn, I mean). But what the heck, just today I finally realized after several years of her reigning in my house, that this chick cannot even get on her steed! I know that female royalty crave gowns, but couldn't Playmobil have designed this princess to at least wear a, say, Givenchy pantsuit? So much for her riding off into the enchanted forest to the local "midwive"'s cottage to have her turn the unicorn into her future husband. Guess she will be uni the remainder of her life.

My 5 year old daughter loves Playmobil, and it helps build her imagination. But it doesn't hold up to my 3-year old son very well :-)
