it's what was expected. it's playmobil. sometimes you see discounts in the shop, sometimes you don't. i personally used it as a xmas decoration and if any kids were around, they can play with them. again... it's playmobil, either you like it or not. i like it. so i bought it. simple :)

My son loves Saint Nicholas and was so excited to get this!! I would prefer to buy just St. Nicholas because he didn't care much about the angel but it wasn't too expensive. I love that St. Nicholas truly looks like a bishop and has the crozier and pieces. St. Nicholas is perfect. The pieces are tiny and I'm sure we have lost a few but that is true for any small lego/playmobil item.

I bought these playmobil to share about the traditions of St. Nicholas with the kids (understanding the roots of where our present day Santa came from and why the example of St. Nick is important for our lives).
The kids (preschoolers) think they are neat. They'll have fun with them in our holiday toy collection, and with their playmobil.
Admittedly I'd prefer not to have an angel with him, but oh well. It gives me a chance to talk about how we don't really KNOW angels look like that...
