Bought this for my son for his fifth birthday. The different elements of this toy are great and really fuel his imagination. Horse reins, saddles and 'cloak' fit most other PlayMobil horses (other than ones which are harnessed to wagons and so on) giving further flexibility. We have a lot of fun with PlayMobil pirates usurping the throne; the rightful king escaping in his disguise and the castle being ambushed by the bin lorry (with soldiers and crossbow hiding in the back)! Perhaps we're both as mad as each other, but it's the flexibility of PlayMobil that affords these possibilities.
Sometimes you can wonder just what you have paid for with PlayMobil - it can be a bit expensive - but this combination is well worth the money.
Durability wise, as with most PlayMobil, this is fairly good;the arrows and quiver are the weak area. As long as the arrows remain in the quiver (!) I can't foresee too much of a problem, but they're perhaps a wee bit delicate to be removed often and remain connected.

'I like this because it's a multi set, which means it's got four bits that you could have a battle with. So you could muddle up the bits to make him look like a knight that was brave enough to not wear armour. Or a King. I like having battles with him, he is usually a goodie. Always a goodie. Everyone who likes Playmobil should buy this toy.' W, aged 7.

I don't think you can possibly say anything bad about Playmobil. My son loved it and now my three grandchildren. The knights are brilliant and this is an addition to my 5year old grandson's knight collection. On it's own probably only minimal play value but once you start collecting - just brilliant
