Quite a good toy but takes a lot of careful management to get the submarine to float/balance/sink in the bath. Rather too difficult for a 5 year old. We also had problems attaching to air hose. Ok toy but frustration has limited its use.

My 3yr old son loves this toy. He plays with it in the tub and has a great time making it go under the water and come back up. He has a little trouble keeping the pump out of the water (if you submerge the hand pump it fills with water and won't work to raise and lower the submarine until you drain the water out of it) It has quickly become his favorite bath toy.

I bought this for my nephew last Christmas and it was a big hit! I found this model very affordable compared to some other choices and the durability was very important to me. There is not a lot of assembly required and that means less pieces to lose and break :)
