I bought this Doll's House as a replacement for a cheaper, nastier one I bought for my daughter for Christmas - It was worth every penny!!
The furniture fits to the floors - with upstairs room, 2 downstairs rooms and an outsite space too. Lots of chunky enough bits for a toddler (my daughter is 2 and a half) but play value galore as my 5 year old son loves it too.
The baby and stroller have been a source of untold joy today and with animals and furniture, all that is missing is a little car (but I feel we may have to buy one and would not feel it was a waste of money).
Our new favoutite brand is playmobil 123!

I bought this dollhouse as a Christmas present for my 2 year old daughter. She hasn't played with it yet but I wanted to leave a review to help out the people like me who were searching in vain for better photos and/or descriptions of this product to compare with other dollhouses. The base of the dollhouse is a box, and the two flaps on the sides fold up to close the box so you can store all the furniture inside without it falling out. The roof piece of the dollhouse is separate and snaps on to the top of the dollhouse base. The dollhouse floor is made of a grid so that you can snap the furniture pieces into it--same concept as legos. This is the #1 feature you need if you are looking for a toddler dollhouse. This way the child can snap the chairs and tables and all furniture into the floor and not knock everything over when she sticks her hand in there to play with it. I think this toy comes with a generous amount of furniture. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and patio furniture.

Playmobil may have discontinued this because it's not on their site now, but in general you can get their stuff quite a bit cheaper on their site than on amazon. My child adores this toy (she got it for her 2nd b-day and is still going strong). Making the little people go up and down the slide and the baby drive the stroller are big favorites, as are arranging the people in the chairs and couches and having them eat. There's a toilet, too. The set came with a little cat and that's one of her all time favorite toys, she uses the cat for all kinds of other play. These Playmobil toys seem to encourage imaginative play--for children to create scenarios and characters. This is why I rated the educational value as high even though it isn't exactly teaching anything; but it encourages creativity and long play scenarios, and I think these things are supposed to be good for children's brain development. The quality is high and they are very tough. The little people make good bathtub toys as well. These 123 toys are chunky and easy for little ones to manipulate. The door and windows open and close. The two side panels fold down for more floors to stick the furniture to or up to be like walls, and they can be stuck together and played with separately as an ersatz laptop computer which, though it doesn't do anything, is somehow more fun than any of her 3 elctronic toy computers.
