Playmobil - 4346 Vet Operating Room

This is a great toy, very easy to use and with all the lovely secret compartments and little mysteries that make kids go crazy about playmobil. It complements well the vet clinic, but needn't be played as part of it - an imaginative child will "make up" a clinic around it. It's better for 5-6 year olds than 4 year olds (but the same is true of most playmobils).

This toy is a great product from Playmobil, but requires a lot of adult assistance in getting it out of the box and child-ready. It took Mum and two Aunties about 15 minutes to get all the fiddly bits done (stickers on, small bits clipped into the right places, etc) so by the time it was all ready, 5 year old birthday boy's interest was waning and some of the shine had been lost. Best advice would be to open the box and get everything ready and set up for the child before you give it as a gift.

This toy is wonderful. As with all Playmobil products, this set is beautifully made and well thought out. Lots of little bits and pieces mean that it will take a long while, if ever for your child to get bored with it. The X-ray pictures are fascinating and you can even remove the doctors hat and face mask for when he finishes work. My three year old nephew loves this toy and uses his imagination to a degree that astounds me. This isn't just a fun toy, it really stretches a childs mind as well. The set contains lots of animals and also bandages and plasters. When my nephew asked me what they were I explained to him that they were for the animals who were ill or injured. The look on his face showed that this clinic is more than a toy. He immediately set about making all the animals better and enjoyed every second. This Playmobil set is a great chance to play and interact with your child. And this particular toy is a lovely way to play and care at the same time.
