The assembly is a bit involved and once built can be easily knocked down by any heavy handed youngster. My 4 year old was a bit perplexed why it has a luggage scanner but not one for people and how people get to the observation deck without stairs! The other annoying bit of design is the signs which pop out the instant you put your hand into the building.

We havent given the airport to my son yet (waiting for Christmas). We did however open it up and pre-assemble it to reduce the chaos on Christmas morning.

Its really durable and easy to assemble - the only hard part was getting my husband to stop playing with it long enough to get it back in the box...
