My son is Roman mad! He wanted to buy this chariot with his Christmas money and it is money well spent! He hasn't stopped playing with it since he opened it. He is now saving up to buy all the other Playmobil Roman things.
We initially thought the Playmobil Roman toys would be too young for him (he's 6), but he loves playing with them and pays attention to all the detail (including the different types of armour, clothing, etc).

Bought this for my nephew and he has to fight away his Mum & dad to get playing with it!! It is great that at 5 year old he is learning about the romans without realising it.

We purchased this for our four-year-old, who loves everything about the Romans. It was a bit difficult to put together, but now that he understands how it works, he has played with it a lot - and taken it apart so that the horses can pull the Playmobil catapults he has (using the chariot harness). The pieces on the outside of the wheels (the fake knives) fall off constantly, but aside from that it's holding up well so far.

I have been buying my son Ancient Egyptian and Roman-themed Playmobil sets and so I am always on the lookout for cool accessories to go with them. Subsequently, I recently purchased this Roman chariot (along with an Egyptian chariot to keep the balance between the two rival forces) which fits in just nicely. I have noticed that there are also red and green Roman chariots available, so I guess they are next in line on my to-buy list. I grew up with Playmobil toys and I am now introducing my son to the toys that brought me so much joy. In short, they are amazing; the quality, the detail, and the educational value are all excellent. Off to war...
