Thought this was quite expensive, but my 5 year old has loved it! The stories she makes up around it are endless. Cost/play time makes it well worth it.

Tried to buy this product another in time for a birthday, gave 3 weeks time for it to arrive as sometimes Amazon can be very optomistic with their delivery times!!?
Had email say toy dispatched. Had email toy delivered BUT it was delivered to another town 30 miles away? But still had our delivery address. Spoke to Amazon who said will do an internal Investigation to check with supplier (Amazon's Recommended Suppliers). Sent email to supplier and just got an email back saying they sent it down to Amazon now! (cheers great Help!!)
RESULT = Failed deleviery, failed birthday present, failed customer service!!
CONCLUSION = Go to a High Street Shop as you can see, touch, buy and have good face to face customer service!!

Royal Carriage Great Toy

Bought this for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She loves it. Spends hours with her brother also playing with it. It is well built and easy to assemble with an adult supervising. Would buy more of this kind of product.

You get 6 figures and 2 horses. Those alone make it worth the price. We bought this to go with the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Castle. Besides Disney Princesses, it is very hard to find dolls to use to play with the castle. We also bought The Playmobil Royal Bedroom, King with Throne, Nursery, and Bathroom. All come with figures and fit into a room or area of the castle, except for the throne, which goes out front. Our daughter will be 4 in August and hasn't used the castle yet...but I have "played" with it and set it up. Many of the Playmobil pieces will be too little for her to play with or understand, such as the scroll, ring pillow, and a few other objects that come with the carriage. We also are not going to give her the pieces to hook the horses to the carriage. The horses alone can hold her "knights," and the carriage rolls better without the horses than with them - not too realistic but it seems the best for her age. Disappointingly, the carriage is much too big to fit on the drawbridge of the castle, but a horse will. All of the pieces (assembly required!) snap together and are very sturdy. They are plastic, but very nice and detailed. Note: we have another Playmobil product bought at a local store (Kmart and Meijer carry Playmobil), but it was made in China and the pieces do not snap together and some fall apart. This product was made in Germany and is of a higher quality.

My grandaughter loved this toy for her 5th birthday present. My other 8 year old grandaughter and her little friend really liked it too. They all enjoyed playing together with it.
The price was much better on Amazon than anywhere else I looked for it.
