There is sound reason why on first coming across Playmobil the toys seem to be expensive. You get what you pay for and until one has the chance to handle these toys you cant imagine just how well built and how much attention to detail that goes into making each piece. The plastics used in these toys are of a higher grade than Lego and the rest. Meaning never having to worry of them breaking indeed short of burning them I would say these toys are indestructible. My 7 year old son has taken a keen interest in Egypt's history since playing with this item and the actual Pyramid his grandparents got him and that's priceless.

I have been buying my son Ancient Egyptian and Roman-themed Playmobil sets and so I am always on the lookout for cool accessories to go with them. Subsequently, I recently purchased this Egyptian chariot (along with a Roman chariot to keep the balance between the two rival forces) which fits in nicely. I grew up with Playmobil toys and I am now introducing my son to the toys that brought me so much joy. In short, they are amazing; the quality, the detail, and the educational value are all excellent. Playmobil should now produce themes of Ancient Greece (Athens, Sparta, Macedonia, Troy, Corinth, etc) and Persia!

Too bad they are interrupting the Egyptian series. It was (and still is) awesome, with endless opportunities to talk history, mythology, legends, and more. Playmobil rules!
