I write about things that make me laugh. I write things I'd like to read if other people had written them. I write about things I know, things I've actually done or been around and involved in. I was Chairman of the Washington Theatre Group which gave me a chance to 'persuade' the group to perform some of the plays I'd scribbled down when I really should have been doing other things. When they were well recieved by audiences it spurred me on to write more. My first play 'Cinderella and the Pantomime Thief' was published by Lazybee Scripts in 2005.
After writing a few more stage-plays I turned my hand to non-fiction, drawing on my experience as a Complaints Manager for the now sadly defunct MFI (which may or may not have had something to do with the amount of money I gave to customers to pacify their complaints) for my book 'I want to complain : an alternative guide to customer service' which was featured on BBC Radio 4's Susan Calman feature 'The art of Complaining' in December 2011.
I'm grateful to each and every person who buys and reads one of my books. The positive feedback I recieve makes every 3am 'must-get-this-chapter-finished' session and 9th cup of coffee of the day worth while.
I have now written and published two novels (one under my psuedonym 'P.R.Fox') and my musical play based on the paintings of Alexander Millar, 'Working Man' was published in November 2013. I'm currently working on a non-fiction book about one of my passions (Football) and a comedy novel set in a haunted Caravan Park called 'Chance?'.

An excellent and amusing book that lists and describes many of activities that revolve around the playground. Not only does it take you back to your schooldays, but it also provides a history of what games people played in their younger days.
