I bought this as part of an English assignment and was not disappointed. It had line numbers periodicaly that you could refer to when reading the notes at the back of the book, the notes explained words and phrases used. It also gave an good insight into the writers life. The play itself (The Playboy of the Western World) is very deep but all in all a good read.

My favourite Irish play; it is funny with real characters who are typed but never stereotypical. Funny on paper, funnier on stage.
