I have not nearly finished the game yet, but so far it is very enjoyable. Several difficulty levels to choose from, various different factions, hero and units can be upgraded. Has similarities with Total War series (which I also love) but as other reviews say, more story driven and the ability to ugrade characters and units provides more choice and a little more depth. Currently under 3 quid with Amazon, so can't really go wrong with this either: amazing value at that price as this feels like a quality game.
Very easy to get into, with intuitive controls and some tutorial type advice to start off with. In between the battle parts (which can consist of several objectives)there are options for training, recruitment, mission choices, etc.
I have played for several hours and have only scratched the surface of this game.
