I have 60gb console but was dissapointed because it is so noisy. I cannot stand the noise. The fan is too loud. It actually disturb you from watching dvd or playing games. I bought it primarily for viewing my photo and video.

To my dismay I sold it and I bought the 80gb and it was really quite. It has no backward compatibility and built card reader. I really dont need backward compatibility. Though the spec is bit low compared to 60gb I am happy with it. I bought usb card reader to download my photos and videos. I dont know but i noticed that 80gb reads the ps3 game faster than 60gb. If you have extra money buy the 160gb. It is worth it.
