A Great Resource! 27 Jan 2009
Format:Paperback
I teach drama classes to children of all ages. I bought this book trying to find some plays that were easy enough for the little ones to read and found exactly what I was looking for! Not only are there short, easy to read plays for younger children, there are also some that are a little more grown up, and very funny! I was able to find plays for all of my classes, ranging from ages 6-16. Marvellous!

Play Time 18 Jan 2011

Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Very simple playlets for younger children. The language used is simple and is good for those who find reading a challenge. However for my group it is a little juvenile. We have a couple of children who have reading difficulties, but who are really too old for the material in this book. I cannot see my 14 year old dyslexic member wanting to appear in any of these little plays. It is the old problem of making the interest level fit the age of the child, where a learning difficulty a problem.

I like it 2 Dec 2010

This book was great for short plays and I will be using them with my drama club. Some, i think, are better for reading groups than performing, but I would recommend this book. The price is fantastic.
