In response to the gentleman who was put off installing an iO play into his Honda with premium sound. The iO will ONLY over-ride the vehicles own amplifier when either streaming audio or he's on a handsfree call. If you are not streaming audio the the vehicles own amplifier will operate as normal. I would definately question how good the installer was that advised you of this as they have given you incorrect information. I personally have an iO play and the quality of the audio is nothing short of superb. Yes it is 4 x 15 watts but don't be put off it sounds great!!

I will keep it simple and say it in one word, FANTASTIC!

Finally some one has come along with a car kit that actually streams you music in stereo (how many advertise this then don't deliver!) as well offering all the functions you would expect with a standard Bluetooth car kit. I use a Nokia N95 8GB as my phone and my partner uses her ipod (be warned you do need a Bluetooth adaptor to use your ipod, you can get a Jabra A125s for around �20 and they work great). If we are using the ipod and a call comes in it automatically overrides and goes to my phone, once the call is finished the iO automatically reverts to the ipod, clever stuff.

It's a highly recommended piece of kit for any body that enjoys there music and values there licence at the same time.

I have a stock sound system in my golf and anything streamed through the IO-Play sounds truly horrible. Its tinny and hissy. It also seems to 'stutter' every few seconds from what I can assume to be from a woefully underpowered amp which overrides your car amp. I have tried to contact IO-Play directly for 4 months now and even approached a sales rep at an exhibition and was promised someone would help solve my problems, but no-one has bothered to call - seems like they're trying to avoid admitting it has problems. I would avoid (I see another reviewer pointing to the same problem)
