Yeh well, myself and 2 other guitarist tried out this book including my "Rock mentor" who has been playing for 25 years and it is very good. Some of these sort of music books are written by computers and they dont always get it right. I highly recommend (no one is paying me to say this) If only every song book was this good!!!

For a start this title is slightly mis-advertised. Its actually "Play Guitar with the Best of the Beatles". There are 3 other volumes. This is all 3 together plus, I think, a couple of extra songs.
Anyway, the guitar tab is excellent. The backing CD's do the job. I suspect a lot of the backing was programmed. I have a Hal Leonard play a long of the Beatles and the backing was done by session muso's so its a bit better in that respect.
But, taking nothing away from this book, it contains 23 songs by the Beatles and if you work hard on your guitar, this is better than doing blucky scales all evening ... and then you get to play the songs with your backing band!
