Our Wii is about 6 or 7 years old. Does anyone know if this game is likely to work on it?

A. Collinson says:
its a WII U game not a wii game. wii u is the new next console after wii which is more powerful and hd graphics. you must own a WII U to play this game. in faxct any games you are unsure if wii games or not, wii U games generally have blue boxes whilst original wii games are white boxes in general. If you love your wii though I would recommend a WII U as much better ad you can get a bundle on amazon with this zelda game included :)

As Collinson have said the Wii does not play Wii U games, however, it does play Wii games and makes them look much better than they were originally on the Wii.

The best time to get a Wii U will be in 2014 when Smash Bros 4, Mario Kart 8, and maybe the new Xenoblade 2 and who knows a new Zelda.

Wind Waker HD is definitely worth purchasing considering it's almost a completely new game and that the original costs like half the price of the HD version.
