Maybe I didn't concentrate on the quantities of the plasticine in the pots before buying this set - but they really are tiny, each pot contains about the size of 4 sugar cubes. not enough to make much with.

I bought this for my friend's 2 and a half year old daughter and she loved it. I agree that there is not a lot of plasticine for each colour but for a 2 year old I think it is enough to get started on plasticine. The little cutters are fun, different shapes like dog, cat and flower, like cookie cutters. As they are not very sharp it is a bit hard for young children to cut through the plasticine and therefore a bit frustrating without the help of an adult. But all in all we had great fun with it and the little one took it happily away with her.
