Great idea, bought this for work and now have hot water on tap - literally. It takes about 20-25 minutes to boil when full which is 8 litres. This lasts 12 people 2 cups of tea each.

I can't believe how good my tea urn is, we have a summer house at end the end of a very long garden, so this is not only energy saving in electricity it also is saving my energy. It takes very little time to boil and everybody just help themselves, so saving again more of my energy. I call that brilliant on all counts.

Purchased for a domestic tea party for thirty to forty guests, it made the method we had used in former years - alternating between two domestic kettles - seem terribly inefficient. A great piece of kit - not too big to store until the next party, easily kept clean and so much easier than the kettles.

Swan Catering Urn
This is a great product and does exactly what it says.
Once the thermostat has been set the water stays hot and does not seem to boil away as with some other products.
