Product Description
ProDen PlaqueOff is a completely natural product, containing only specially selected seaweed (D1070). It comes in a granulated form which is easily added to food every day. It is rich in natural iodine and contains important vitamins and minerals and is free from artificial colours, preservatives, gluten and sugar. PlaqueOff is different from other dental products as it works systemically (i.e. through the blood system). It is thought to affect the ability of plaque to 'stick' to surfaces in the mouth and softens hard tartar deposits. Improvements should start to be seen between 3 and 8 weeks. Used daily, it can significantly help in the control of dental plaque, tartar and bad breath. Persistent bad breath may be an indication of a more serious underlying condition and you should consult your veterinary surgeon if there is no improvement. Due to the rich iodine content of seaweed this product may not be suitable for animals undergoing thyroid treatment.

Proden Plaqueoff Animal 60g.
My mother in law has three greyhounds and their breath used to be really smelly. She got a 60g pot of Plaque Off from her vet only about three weeks ago and the result is amazing! Not only the smelly breath has gone but the gums are not inflamed any more! I got a pot for my cats now, will use it for profilactic purposes.

I have used Plaque Off for several years for my dogs teeth. I have no experience of the product on the teeth of cats. After a few weeks of use it softens the plaque on the teeth which is then easily removed by the dogs chewing a toy or similar or it can be brushed off with a toothbrush. I have miniature breeds of dogs who, in my experience, do have more problems with the build up of plaque. I used to own giant breeds of dog and never ever saw any plaque on their teeth!As Plaque Off contains iodine it cannot be given to dogs with thyroid problems.

Seems to work reasonably well. The dog's teeth look healthier and his smelly breath has definitely improved. Parcel arrived in good time.

Good stuff

made cat ill
This product made my cat extremely ill, I took him to the vets and the vet advised he had an allergic reaction and it effected his liver and made him sick. Will not use again
