I needed a replacement for my Plantronics C65 - the signal of the C65 wasn't quite strong enough to reach through a few walls down to the phone base-station downstairs at home.
I considered the C70 and this one - both in a similar price range. I went for this one because I like the over-the-head type of headset rather than the over-the-ear type (I like to walk around while I'm on the phone, and the over-the-head type is more stable). Also, this one has an instant mute rather than a three-second button-press for the C70 - a must if you do a lot of conference calls.
This is a very comfortable headset. The sound is very clear and strong compared to my old C65 and the range is absolutely fine - better than the C65.
Set-up was a doddle - just charge it up until the charge light goes out (took about 5 hours), press in the mute button for a few seconds then do the phone base-station thing (for my Philips it was pressing a button on the base station for a few seconds) and they connected absolutely perfectly.
Highly recommended - great sound, easy to set-up and very comfortable.

Excellent product I can now wash the dishes and talk to my friends!! The instructions are worse than useless but I called the supplier and they explained how to set it up, which is very straight forward once somebody tells you what to do!

Amazon Verified Purchase
I read all the reviews before buying, and this seemed to fit the bill. We live in an old stone built house with very thick walls, which destroys radio signals of any type, so I really was not sure how far this would reach!
It arrived well within the time quoted and was mega easy to set up. My office is about 50 yards from the phone point (I have a Panasonic with 4 handsets), however I have a repeater fitted at about the 30 yard distance (knowing what the stone walls do), so this should not be too much of a problem, and it wasn't. I do have to say that even at the 20 yards distance from the repeater it does bleep ocassionally to say its near the extent of its signal.
My only concern is the tone of the unit! It has a volume control, which is fine, on the loudest setting it blows your head off, however it does not have a tone control, and this means that it is a little bit on the base side for my ears and I do have problems hearing some people with it.
Overall I am pleased, but can't say it's perfect because of the tone issue.

Best headset
This is absolutly brilliant. It was a piece of cake to set up and the sound is crystal clear. Well worth the money and makes those long conference calls almost enjoyable!

Amazing product
