This is the only headset I've owned, so I can't compare it with any other, but it works well enough (and it's cheaper now than when I bought it 3 months ago!). The voice recognition on my Blackberry is much more accurate using the headset than just the phone. I can carry on a conversation in the car when driving at 70mph, although I have to shout a bit when walking down the road with constant traffic going past. It's a bit fiddly taking it on and off, but not to the point of irritation. Sometimes I've left it on accidentally; it's easy to do this as the on/off switch is on the small side & there's not much to grip on.
I don't keep it on all the time, & don't need to recharge it very often; it beeps (during a call) when it's nearly flat. It switches on quickly, so at home/office I can turn it on, hook it round my ear and answer a call within 2 or 3 rings (even with specs, which need to be taken off and/or put back on). You can also switch it on and off during a call. I haven't tested its maximum operational distance, because it's not an issue for me as I've never needed to be more than 6 feet away from the phone. It comes with a large instruction book (but only one page of instructions per language)and UK/Europe plugs as well as a car charger.
