After considerable deliberation I opted for the 975 instead of the voyager pro and returning to the manufacturer of my previous headsets - Jabra. I have not been disappointed. Its brilliant for battery life, sound quality, ear position and ease of use. The multi device function is fantastic as I have both works and personal phones it automatically switches if one rings or I touch the keys of one. Want a bluetooth headset - buy this one.

I read the other customer reviews prior to purchasing, and whereas I do not like to leave negative reviews it would be unfair to write anything other than my experiences today. I bought this advanced headset on the back of ownership of another Plantronics headset which goes with me everywhere 24/7 and is superb.
Pairing with this phone took a while, but the call quality was abysmal with an iPhone 4 running the latest sw. Whether to a fixed line or mobile the person on the other end of the line could not hear me, or the call kept breaking up. The headset would unpair when the phone was put in my back pocket (I am only average height, not a giraffe). I don't believe Plantronics would release such a defective product so will save my venom and bile - thanks to Amazon, straightforward to request a replacement and return what is hopefully a faulty product - I have just bought Siemens Gigaset SL78H phones to use with this headset and mobile simultaneously! This review will be updated when I get a replacement and if it is anything like the other headset I own, 5/5.
Update - Amazon's unrivalled returns service got me the replacement yesterday, plugged it in and all working as it should so bingo! the other one was defective after all - others have commented on the call quality dropping when paired simultaneously with another blutooth device and as soon as I get the Siemens phones will update again, so Jury still out but 4/5, looking to extend it one more more when it all works as it should!

I have had this product for about 10 days now and purchased it on the back on the many good reviews. I'm sorry that I'm probably in the minority but I've been disappointed in it's performance. Great service from Amazon and the seller by the way.
The Good Points:- Good build quality, small, lightweight and comfortable, pairs and works like a dream with the Iphone 4, brilliant innovative idea to have a charging case as well.
The Not so Good Points:- Buttons a bit small and fiddly, but you get used to them, confortable but doesn't feel totally secure and call quality not very good.
I can hear the caller really well, but everyone I have spoken to says that the call breaks up or is slightly muffled and not clear. I'm not sure why this is as other headsets I've used have been perfect and my husband uses another make with his Iphone and that's fine too. I will probably have to speak to Plantronics to see if they can help (maybe my unit is faulty), but I no longer have the original packaging to return the product and feel I may have made an expensive mistake. I did expect much better.
I will review again at a future stage if call quality is resolved, but I would say at this stage take heed at this price point because call quality should be top notch and it isn't. I hope this review helps others as I've tried to be balanced. The product has much to commend it, but as the main function is to make and receive quality calls, then I feel my main gripe is fairly major.
