Really nice headset. Lightweight and excellent sound quality - used it mostly for gaming, though some music. Mic is also super quality - I play online with several friends who also have this model, and we have no problems with static, muffling etc. This compares favourably with some of the other headsets out there - tried both cheap and expensive alternatives before settling on this one, mainly due to the superior Mic. Finally, it folds away nicely when not in use. Only downer is its slightly high price, but worth it in my opinion.

Several earlier attempts to make good use of voice recognition software have stalled due to inaccuracy. I was still convinced of the benefits and invested in the DSP-400, with the fallback that I could always use it for internet voice conversations. I have been hugely impressed. It is comfortable to wear for long periods, and has resulted in a marked improvement in my voice recognition accuracy. For the first time, I am regularly using Via Voice Pro for dictation, and having to do little more correction than I would normally do to correct grammar and spelling, and to improve readability. I wanted USB capability, as this enables me to plug it into a USB hub and to move the headset from desktop to laptop without getting down on my knees to plug/unplug the headset into the sound card. Strongly recommended. It also folds up neatly into a soft case that fits easily into my computer bag for travelling.

The DSP-400 is a beautiful headset. It has excellent quality - a crystal clear microphone and a pair of headphones that output a decent quality of audio.

This product is easy to install, on Windows XP I had it working in fewer than 2 minutes. The software is clean cut and easy to understand, though you don't have to use the software to use the product - it does give you more control over the unit.

As for the Physical build of this product I'm going to agree with the other reviewers that it does feel slightly flimsy, but that is completely off set by the fact that the whole unit folds up to be smaller than my mouse! Also the unit comes with a neat leather carry bag, that is something Laptop users such as my self will find very nice.

The only problem with the unit is that the cables for the headphones come up to both the left and right earpieces, I'd be much more comfortable with just one cable going to the right earpiece and none to the left.
