After much research into "solderless" cables, I went with (2) Planet Waves cable kits. I am very satisfied. Extremely easy to assemble and not a single failure so far. Ends are smaller than regular 1/4" cable ends, but not super "mini". The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the gold ends add to the over-all 'custom' crafted look. Very easy to put together, and no special skills necessary. highly recommended.

This is my second kit. The cable system is easy to use and does not change the tone. I have George L cables and these are as good or better. If I could recommend one thing it would be they add more straight then 90 degree plugs.

I bought these to create different length cables for my guitar rig. These are very easy to assemble and they seem to hold up well (Only had them for a few months though). The connections seem extremely solid and durable. I have bought the pedal board kit as well and what I've found is that I can use more of the connections. I have extra cable left over and I cannot find where to order just the connectors for a reasonable price. Its far cheaper to order the kits and have leftover cable. I bought from Amazon.com for the cost savings. Other places charge up to twice as much for this kit, but if you can get it inexpensively I feel its a great product and worth the cost. I gave it a 4 because the connectors are a tad bit bulky for my liking and because I feel I could have squeezed out a couple more cables if I have more connectors. Great product though! Seems to retain the signal very well as far as I can tell.
