Having bought the dinosaurs and volcanoes book in the same series, both of which are excellent, I was very disappointed with this book. It is well written and interesting, but does not really teach anything about planes. It is actually about airports; for example, how your luggage gets to the plane and about how planes park close to the terminal building. Still looking for a book about planes that a three year old can understand and enjoy!
