There are some really odd looking designs in this lot, but it is also possible to find some of the inspiration for aircraft that have been successfully flown.

4.0 out of 5 stars interesting 4 Dec 2013

I'm not greatly into aircraft but it seems that for all the advances in aeronautical science no one nationality was immune from making drastic mistakes with aircraft design.

This program was produced in the USA, broadcast in the USA (on cable), and then disappeared. Why? Because the Atomic-powered Jet actually FLEW - and that was - and still is - classified information.

Who built the "air-cooled" atomic power plant? CLASSIFIED

Why was it scrapped? CLASSIFIED

Did the entire enterprise dry up and die? CLASSIFIED

Are versions of the "air cooled" reactors being built and used to this very day? CLASSIFIED

This is a GREAT DVD! It is very educational - and education is NOT popular with the far right.
