This garage looks wonderful and one would expect that it would actually be wooden. It is not. It has a wood outer covering, but underneath it is particle board and very cheap. This was assembled Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day one of the ramps (attached to the garage by two small pegs) actually pulled a chunk of the particle board right off. This was after using for a total of approximately 7 minutes. While it was entertaining for a brief moment, I certainly would not recommend it as the quality is simply absent. Truly disappointed, as I ordered this for my grandson (18 months) fully expecting that he would have a toy that would last for some time. Skip it.

This wooden garage has been a great hit with our 2 year old. It is small but it's perfectly sized for tiny toddler fingers.
And if you have limited space as we do then size is important.
It seems very durable and all still in once piece to date.
Only small cars, which the Plan ones are, will fit in the lift which can be slightly frustrating for toddlers if they have other bigger cars and trucks but other than that it has been played with every day since it arrived.
A good purchase!

Hi I am writing this review and have a completely different experience to the other reviewer. Firstly the seller was amazing and their service is second to none.
As for the garage I have no complaints at all. My son who is 19 months old loves this toy, it was easy to assemble and is still his favorite toy almost 3 weeks later.
I found the toy to be durable, well made and easy to put together. He has even stood on it a number of times and it has not broken. For your information in terms of size and weight my son is the equivalent size of a large 2 and half year old.
As well as this Plan toys make a whole load of add on parts, and I am looking forward to building the complete city over the next few years.
My only quibble is that I was only supplied the right number of screws for the purposes of construction and one of them threaded. I was lucky that I had the right size spare, but this almost resulted in my son not having his toy on Christmas day. So I would say come on Plan Toys don't be so tight in the future and throw in a few spares.
As for the other reviewer, sounds to me like he may have had a faulty one and should contact the supplier or the company who I am sure would be happy to help.
