Now for something differant, 25 April 2003
I remember this album from my youth, when I heard it was released on CD I had to have it. It is unlike anything else you would have heard from the Osmonds. This is a concept album, and some of the songs do make you stop and think. The songs are as relevent today as they were 30 years ago (is it really that long ago?), some more so. My favorites "Are you up there" and "Before the beginning" Try it you might like it, there are both upbeat songs and meaningful songs.

Amazing, 1 April 2003
I bought this for my sister at Christmas - so wonderful to find it on CD. I ruined her album of The Plan over 20 years ago - Now she can play them all over again. 'Loving you can be so easy' is a great song sung by the Osmond brothers and is still the best version. Haven't heard it since then and I was quite surprised how I could remember the tunes and the words came flooding back. Brilliant album to hear a good group sing. Classic!

THE OSMONDS CONTINUE TO BE FOREVER GREEN, 12 Jan 2002
Even after almost twenty eight years on the Osmond Brothers 'The Plan' remains evergreen just like the brothers themselves. There are songs that can still get you bouncing in your seat one minute, another will get you singing your heart out and the next song will leave you feeling deeply moved and perhaps even tearful by the words, delivery and instrumentals. The songs were all composed by Merrill, Wayne and Alan and performed by all five of the Osmond brothers and produced by Alan Osmond. There is something that caters for every taste. The well written songs and well chosen words are delivered with class, no matter which brother sings you cannot fail to be impressed, to hear the harmonies gives pleasure to the ear, there is the opportunity to listen to instrumentals which add variety to the CD. The titles of each song reflect its meaning and you cannot fail to be impressed by the wide range of the Osmond Brothers' music. For whichever Osmond brother is your favourite, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay or Donny who perform together on this CD you will not be disappointed, you cannot fail to recognise their voice or their instrumental, each individual voice is so distinctive, there is beautiful diction in all that they sing and for those being introduced to this for the first time, there is much to enjoy. The Plan cannot fail to please anyone, it caters for all tastes from the start of the first song through to the twelfth. To take a title and a chorus from one of their songs "It's Alright".
