I was totally impressed with the first one (Zero Order Phase, released in 2008), but with that Plains of Oblivion I am completely astonished. I could say that now Jeff could do even more than when he was in Nevermore. The product in that limited edition is perfect, with killer graphical aspect, and even with the lyrics of the bonus tracks written in the booklet (a really good aspect!). Negative aspects? Well... maybe the fact that in the end, the two bonus tracks aren't as near as good as most of the tracks of the standard tracklist. The vocal performance of Christine Rhoades, with all my respect, kinda sucks in that two bonus tracks.
Another bad thing is that they will re-release this record, as I recently heard, as a "tour edition" with some other songs as bonus tracks like A Liar's Chain, Speak of Nothing, plus one more brand new song (I don't even know if they will include the 2 bonus track of that 2012's limited edition I bought). For me that sucks, because the fans will have to buy the record again. In my opinion they should put some outtakes and/or alternate mixes in that new version, instead to put the same 10 tracks of the standard tracklist of Plains of Oblivion.
