I was really looking forward to the sequel to "Brind and the Dogs of War" and it didn't disappoint! At once scary, exciting and, dare I say it, educational, Plague Sorcerer dramatically brings the Black Death and 14th century England to life. Travelling in search of help and safety, Brind and Aurélie's loyalty to their master, the dogs and, most importantly, each other, really shines through as they face the treachery of the adults they meet and of nature itself. I'm not sure these two young heroes can take any more adventures, but if they can, I can't wait to read about them.
