This peel does NOT have a wooden handle - you have to read the description carefully which says 'tubular aluminium handle'. The peel is compact and is quite nice, but if you are expecting a traditional looking peel, you will be disappointed.

We have just built a clay pizza ovenin the garden and this is the perfect tool for getting the pizzas in and out! so much so we have ordered a second one.... the handle isn't that long, so would be great for indoor use too.

I really do not need to say too much here - it is hardly a sopisticated piece of hardware but nonetheless the pizza peel shown offered no surprises and was exactly as I had imagined. In works in the way that it ws designed for, is light, well made and of good quality materials.

More useful than you might think
