Look through most reviews of cheap shutter remotes and the main criticism you'll see is that the cable fits very loosely in the camera socket, to the extent that it's prone to falling out. I've experienced this with a previous after-market remote and I can tell you it's *very* frustrating. I saw no mention of that in the reviews for this Pixel Pro model so I thought I'd give it a go.
It's blummin' superb! It fits snugly in my 7D's remote socket - no danger of it falling out with a little jiggling of the cable - and the release button has a very positive action that you soon come to trust. Obviously I can't speak to its longevity at this point, but it appears well made to me. It's a small step up in price from the truly bargain-basement models, but a significant step up in quality, and still much cheaper than the genuine Canon version. Definitely a good buy for me.
