Does exactly as it says on the box.
It works very well with my Canon EOS 1000D.
I like to work with slow shutter speeds for special effect light photography, and this does the job a treat! The Mirror lockup mode is very handy for my needs.
The build quality and feel of it in the hand is good, and the shutter button has a very posative feel to it.
Would I recomend anyone get one of these? YES without any doubt at all.

I bought this trigger for use with the Canon EOS 500D. The trigger works perfectly it has the single button which when pressed will trigger all the same functions that pressing the shutter button on the camera.
The trigger even works with the half push function present on most cameras.
Once the trigger has been pushed the user can then slide the front face of the trigger up to lock it into place. Great function thats used when doing BULB exposures.
The cable length is perfect for me, however if you wanted to do photography which required you to be some distance from the camera for example wildlife photography, then I would recommend a wireless or infrared trigger.

its everything i need, its sturdy and comfortable to hold. you don't have to push down too hard on the button the take the picture and also the locking feature is superb!
