If you're looking at a shutter release, odds are that you've paid a pretty penny for your camera. That being so don't try and be a cheap skate like me, Buy a cable made for your camera. My camera is a third arm to me and just why I choose to risk it's health useing a cheap piece of junk like this is beyond me.I had to perform emergency surgery to dis- connect the thing. If you love your camera then DON'T buy this. Be nice, buy the proper kit. I promise you won't be sorry!

As with equivalent products from other manufacturers, the build quality of this is very poor. Despite me being extremely careful (as advised by product description) to take care when removing the plug from the camera, this process required a lot of force and ended up with the metal casing on the plug remaining stuck in the camera when the plug came out.
Yes, you can get it out with pliers, and yes the control will probably work fine once you have done this, but unless you want to buy a defective product I would avoid this one.

I bought this remote control few days ago, as no reviews has been written so far i've been not so sure about this. But despite that is a product made in China works great with my Nikon D3100,few instruction in english, eazy to set up, testet for normal shooting around the house with a tripod and in bulb mode for some fireworks. I highly recommend this product, for this price is really, really good. Buy with confidence!!!

Worked first time, BUT..............

Good item
The item does the job perfectly, some of the reviews talk about it being stiff, which it is to remove somewhat but nothing a little carefully wiggling cant fix.
