Technology is taking steps forward every single day, and this fantastic box set is almost a gallery of the fantastic advances in the mixture of technology and film that is Pixar.
Toy Story caused a storm when it first came out- the first entirely computer generated film. And the animation really is quite incredible, considering when it was made. It gives the cartoon quality needed for the toys, along with the realism for the humans. However, you may expect that this film is just really an experiment, with a terrible script, and bad story line. You would be incredibly wrong. It is truly a classic, and a breakthrough, and would classify as THE greatest family film ever made even if it was Live Action. Being animated just adds to the true magic that this film is. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen give fantastic performances in this funny classic. This DVD is also complete with fantastic extras. However, this wonderous film is not all.

The animation is better, the plot better, the script better, and over all the whole film is better. It follows the tale of some new characters who are captured byan evil toy store owner, with hilariousness on the way. After the success of the first film, this film oozes with confidence, making it more exciting, with more fantastic extras that will keep you as entertained as the film will.
A Bugs Life is yet another charming tale of insect life by the geniuses Pixar. It really opens up your imagination, the fact that bugs have a whole society. It is more of a children film, but it has fantastic animation, and good extras.
This fantastic box set then sadly comes to an end, but with the fantastic Monsters Inc. Fantastically voiced by Billy Crystal and John Goodman, it tells the tale of two seemingly friendly monsters who become friends with a human child. This is actually the best of all the films. It is a hilarious film, that also has meaning, and a moral of course, that is interesting to adults and chidren alike, with the extras for both ages.
All in all, this is a fantastic box set, displaying hilarty and technology, all giving us a glimpse into a society different from our own that we can all learn from. A must buy, whoever you are.

Both TS movies were hard to follow, but Antz follows the films up very well, but replacing toys with the romantic conquests of ants. This film is very entertaining, with a clear improvement in animation. It is a very funny film, that will appeal very much to children, but also to adults, with many film parodies on the way.
