PRAISE FOR MARK YOSHIMOTO NEMCOFF and PACIFIC COAST HELLWAY
"Imagine Howard Stern dropping acid with Trey Parker and Jon Stewart..." -- PLAYBOY MAGAZINE

PACIFIC COAST HELLWAY PRESENTS: "PISSED OFF: Is Better Than Being Pissed On," a comedic tour-de-force by best-selling and award-winning author and humorist Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff as he uses his acid wit to shred the topics that cause his blood to boil, including:

CHILD BEAUTY PAGEANTS:
"You can always tell the pedophiles in the audience. Those are the guys whose faces light up like a fat kid watching a stuffed crust pizza commercial."

COMPETITIVE EATING:
"Three and three-quarter pounds of Rocky Mountain Oysters. Holy sh*t, dude. That's the most balls in one guy's mouth since the the last time the Village People played Elton John's birthday party on Fire Island."

REALITY SHOWS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S JUNK:
"You don't NEED a mint condition Darth Vader figure in the package to survive unless you're a pretty girl who gets cornered at Comic-Con and need something to toss as a distraction so you can escape without being eye-raped by every nerd in a Starfleet costume."

THINKING THE DINOSAURS ROAMED THE EARTH 10,000 YEARS AGO:
"It's fairly obvious that if you don't believe that the dinosaurs lived millions and millions of years ago, you're stranded on the short bus in the middle of moron bridge over the raging rapids of dumbf*ck river."

"PISSED OFF: Is Better Than Being Pissed On" pulls no punches and goes right for the jugular. Unapologetic and oh-so not politically correct, this book will definitely cock-punch your funnybone until you beg for mercy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff is a bestselling and award-winning author living in Los Angeles who has been known to occasionally moonlight as a TV host, voice-over artist and rock journalist. A professional composer of music for television for many years, opportunity knocked and transformed him into a screen/TV writer and author featured on "Access Hollywood." Then a podcast recorded in his car became a weeknightly drive-time radio show on Sirius Sateillite Radio. He is a former member of MENSA, having quit because, in his opinion, "The parties sucked."

This was my first purchase for my Kindle. I found my way into the (often darkly) amusing world of MYN through listening to "Shadow Falls" and then Pacific Coast Hellway. A couple of the rants in this book I had previously heard performed on the PCH, but that is in no way a criticism; I was able to hear the author's indignantly outraged tones in my mind as I read, and laughed. And laugh I did - out loud, several times. MYN's caustic observations are, in my opinion, simply hilarious. I read this book in one sitting, and look forward to dipping into it again.

Nemcoff will make you run for the bathroom...hilarious! 27 Nov 2011

Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff hits my funny bone yet again. His spot-on, raucous "tell it it like is" Pacific Coast Highway commentary left me practically in tears from laughter...and almost peed my pants (yes, all puns intended) from laughing so hard. Buy this book for your friends and family who can't stand their bosses or can't stop whining about reality TV shows about hoarders. Nemcoff's deliciously diabolical rants are code for: "Hey you, wake up, life isn't meant to be taken THAT seriously!" A fast, funny read - put it on your "must-buy" holiday wish list!

Incredibly Hilarious Book from One of the Funniest Writers Out There 21 Nov 2011
By Persephone - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I know it's ironic considering the title, but after reading this book, I am laughing so hard, I think I may just pee myself. MYN's cruelly candid observations on children's beauty pageants are so amazingly on the money that its insane. In a climate where so many people are P.O.'d about stuff, this is just the right medicine to put a big, fat grin on my face.
All the things you think but never say... 17 Jan 2012

I could not stop reading this, and plowed through it in one sitting. All the rants you think about. All the things you want to say to people who put clothes on dogs or complain about athletes' salaries, and more. Great stuff. This is a must read.
