Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
The fourth album by the very underated Monkees gets another airing from Rhino. This deluxe edition is a bit thin when it comes to the bonus tracks having a mere 14 (compared to the amount the other three releases in this series enjoy) but the percentage of unissued material is higher: nine of them will make interesting listening for Monkee completists.

Best of the bunch (only my opinion of course, but as I'm writing this I get to choose) is 'What Am I Doing Hangin Round?' with a discarded Nesmith vocal and an absence of backing vocals being the difference. 'She Hangs Out' is another belter distinguished by the extended close. Monkee maniacs will be familiar with 'Riu Chiu' but the version here is the one that graced the TV show.

The accompanying booklet is liberally spread with photographs and the commentary, by 'the fifth Monkee', Andrew Sandoval, gives a good insight into the tracks on this collection.

If Rhino are to continue on this 'deluxe reissue' campaign, it makes one wonder what other 'goodies' they may have for inclusion on the remaining five albums.
