This book is a great insight into the creative forces that gone into the development of this themepark attraction. I'm biased since 'The pirates' is one of my favourite stops in the Disney parks.
Jason's writing gives many insights and a plethora of little facts. It's very readable and has great artwork inside. A must-have book for the real Pirates fan or Disney afficionado in general. Most of the book covers the four Pirates of the Carribean attractions around the world. There's a chapter about the Pirates of the Carribean movie trilogy and how the attraction was the base of the moviescript, but -luckily- that's only a small portion.

Great book about Imagineering

I've only read the first 40 pages so far, but this is an incredible insight into Disney history and Imagineering. There is a lot of rare artwork and photography and fantastic first hand accounts of the planning and construction that went into these and other rides. A must read for Disney lovers and would-be Imagineers.

Definite keepsake of the most fun packed information on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction

I love this book on the Pirate's of the Caribbean as there isn't anything else out there that has much information and depth as this one does. Lots of incredible information that begins before the Pirates of the Caribbean became a lifelong favorite attraction at the Disney parks and ends with the movie franchise and back to the parks again. This book is jam-packed with information and colorful photographs of the attraction and designs as well as artwork.
